On April 20, 2026, H.E. Yang Shu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada was invited to attend the 2026 "International Chinese Language Day" event. The event was co-organized by the TAMCC Confucius Institute and TAMCC, with over 100 teachers and students in attendance.

In his speech, Ambassador Yang noted that language is a tool for communication and a carrier of culture. As cooperation between China and Grenada deepens across various fields, mastering the Chinese language has become an important advantage for Grenadian youth to enhance their employment competitiveness. The Chinese side will continue to support Grenadian youth in learning Chinese and understanding China, and welcomed students to study in China to experience the country's development and vitality.

The event also featured a vibrant cultural experience zone, including calligraphy displays, table tennis ball pickup with chopsticks, horse painting, Go game matches, and traditional game interactions, which attracted enthusiastic participation from many teachers and students.
