On May 21, 2026, "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for university, secondary, and primary school students in Grenada was successfully held. The event was hosted by Chinese Embassy in Grenada and organized by the Confucius Institute at TAMCC. Around 100 people attended the competition, including Principal Mr. Andrew Abraham,  contestants and their parents, as well as teachers and students.

   Amb.Yang noted that the "Chinese Bridge" serves as an important platform for learning the Chinese language. China is willing to be guided by the Global Civilization Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping, and deepen cultural and people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between China and Grenada. 

    The competition had a lively atmosphere, with contestants giving Chinese-themed speeches and showcasing talents such as singing, dancing, and calligraphy. Thirteen students from four universities, secondary, and primary schools participated. In the end, three contestants won first prizes and will represent Grenada at the global finals in Beijing.
