On May 18, 2022, Ambassador Wei Hongtian visited the headquarter of the Grenada Cooperative Nutmeg Association (GCNA) and held a meeting with its President, Mr. Leo Cato, and General Manger, Mr. Roderick St. Clair. Ambassador Wei was given a rundown on the general situation of the nutmeg industry in Grenada, especially the difficulties faced by the farmers and the association. The two sides exchanged views on how to boost China-Grenada cooperation in nutmeg production and selling by financing and providing technologies.
