On January 30, 2024, Ambassador Wei Hongtian welcomed H.E. Ivette Martínez Leyva, the new Cuban Ambassador to Grenada, in the Chinese Embassy as she paid the courtesy call. Amb. Wei congratulated the Cuban Ambassador on assuming the new post, and the two sides exchanged views on China-Cuba, China-Grenada and Cuba-Grenada relations as they agreed on enhancing cooperation and exchanges in Grenada.
