To celebrate the forthcoming traditional Chinese Lunar New Year, the Spring Festival, the Chinese Embassy in Grenada held Embracing Chinese New Year Reception on February 4, 2024. H.E. Wei Hongtian, Ambassador of China to Grenada greeted the participants at his Residence in True Blue, St. George’s, and extended best wishes to all. 

About 100 representatives from overseas Chinese, Chinese companies, the Confucius Institute, Chinese students in Grenada, and Grenadian friends attended the event. They enjoyed amusement activities, delicious Chinese food and wished each other good luck, good health and well-being in the new year. The Chinese Lunar New Year of 2024 falls on February 10 and it is the year of Dragon according to the Chinese zodiac.
