On March 19,2024, H.E.Wei Hongtian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada attended the official funeral for the late Winston Whyte, former party leader, Member of Parliament and Minister for Youth and Sports of Grenada. Amb.Wei paid last tribute to Winston Whyte and extended deep condolences to his family, relatives and friends. 

   Prior to attending the funeral, Amb.Wei paid visits to McDonald College, Samaritan School and Red Mud Village in St.Patrict and discussed possibility of co-implementation of  community-based small scale projects.
