On April 12, 2024, Ambassador Wei Hongtian inspected the construction sites of the Maurice Bishop International Airport (MBIA) Runway and Road Upgrade and Rehabilitation Project, including the apron, terminal, boarding bridges, and emergency operation center. Amb. Wei emphasized that the project has entered into the final stage, and encouraged the contractor, China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd (CHEC), to make continuous efforts to complete the finishing work in a quality and quantity manner to ensure successful completion of the project.
