On February 27, 2026, H.E. Yang Shu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada attended the First Chinese Spring Festival Temple Fair held by the Chinese Embassy in Grenada. About 50 people attended the event, including Mr. Kelvin Jacob, Chief Cultural Officer of the Ministry of Tourism Creative Economy and Culture in Grenada ,along with local primary school students, their parents, and TAMCC Confucius Institute teachers.

Ambassador Yang extended Chinese New Year greetings to the attendees and delivered an engaging "Spring Festival cultural lesson" to the students. He hoped that the children would gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese culture and customs.
Mr. Jacob thanked the Chinese Embassy for organizing this event, noting that it provided an important platform for students to experience Chinese culture up close and feel the country's charm.
At the event, various activities created a vibrant atmosphere: Chinese calligraphy, tea art, and paper cutting lanterns complemented each other beautifully; traditional games such as darts, tug-of-war, and "table tennis balance" brought fun; a "China-Grenada Knowledge Quiz" attracted enthusiastic participation from the students; and exquisite Chinese snacks delighted everyone's taste buds.
