On October 15, 2025, H.E. Yang Shu, New Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada, paid a courtesy call on Hon. Lennox J. Andrews, Acting Prime Minister of Grenada, to exchange views on hot issues of mutual concern and China-Grenada relations and cooperation.

Ambassador Yang thanked Hon. Andrews for his support of the relations and cultural exchanges between the two countries in the past and future projects. China is willing to carry out more cooperation with Grenada on the basis of Prime Minister Mitchell’s official visit to China earlier this year and continuously maintain and deepen the friendship between the two countries.

Hon. Andrews welcomed Amb. Yang to Grenada and expressed gratitude to China for its long-term assistance to Grenada’s economic and social development. He said that the Grenadian government attaches great importance to Grenada-China relations and hopes to establish a partnership with China to advance key national priorities.
