On July 6, 2022, Ambassador Wei Hongtian paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Infrastructure and Physical Development, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation and Transportation, Hon. Dennis Cornwall.

    Ambassador Wei congratulated Mr. Cornwall on his new position as the Minister for Infrastructure and Physical Development, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation and Transportation. He said the relations between China and Grenada has kept good momentum over the years. With joint efforts of both sides, tangible results were made in many fields. He hoped that the Ministry will continue to play a positive role in promoting infrastructure cooperation between the two countries.

    Minister Cornwall thanked China for its long-term assistance and support, stressing the importance of infrastructure to Grenada’s economic and social development. He expressed his willingness to continue joint efforts with Chinese side to promote the steady development of bilateral friendship and cooperation.

    The two sides agreed to further enhancing exchanges and cooperation in infrastructure and other fields between China and Grenada.
