On May 15, 2024, Mr. Peng Wenlin, Chargé d'affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Grenada, together with Hon. Kerryne James, Minister for Climate Resilience, the Environment & Renewable Energy and MP for St. John, visited the Mt. Granby Community Center Refurbishment Project, which is jointly funded by the Chinese Embassy and the Grenadian Government. During his engagement with the local community, Mr. Peng commended the good relationship between China and Grenada, and said that China is willing to provide assistance to improve the lives of the local people.
