On February 12, 2025, H.E. Wei Hongtian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada, gave a live interview on Grenada Broadcasting Network, in commemorating the 20th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Grenada.

    In the interview, Ambassador Wei reviewed the achievements of cooperation between China and Grenada in the past 20 years since the resumption of diplomatic relations, and noted that China has always been dedicated to carrying out practical cooperation with Grenada based on mutual respect, equality, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, which supported Grenada’s efforts to promote economic and social development and improve people’s livelihood. China will work together with Grenada to implement the outcomes of Prime Minister Hon. Dickon Mitchell’s successful visit to China, further elevating bilateral relations to a new level. Looking ahead, China, as a member of Global South, is committed to working with Grenada to jointly build a community with a shared future for humankind.

    Ambassador Wei warmly congratulated Grenada on its 51st  Anniversary of Independence and extended New Year greetings to the audience.
