On July 29, 2025, H.E. Wei Hongtian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada and his wife Liang Bing left Grenada for China upon the conclusion of his ambassadorial tenure. Officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development of Grenada, diplomats from the Chinese Embassy in Grenada, as well as representatives from overseas Chinese and Chinese companies saw them off at the airport.

Ambassador Wei assumed his post in Grenada in December 2020.
