On August 22, 2025, Ms. Xue Junying, Charge d’Affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Grenada，jointly with Hon. Lennox Andrews，Minister for agriculture, Mr. Isaac Bhagwan, Permanent Secretary for agriculture, lands and forestry，and the Chinese expert team，attended the awards and goodbye ceremony of China-Grenada Agricultural Technical Cooperation Project (Phase 8) .

Ms. Xue stated that the consecutive eight phases agricultural technical cooperation is a symbol of the cooperation between the two countries. These projects have witnessed the development of the relations between China and Grenada and between two peoples. Today’s ceremony is an affirmation of past work and a starting point for the future and further cooperation. China is willing to support and assist Grenada in its development in key areas of all fields.

Minister Andrews presented medals and awards to the Chinese expert team and expressed his gratitude for their contributions and hard work. He highly appraised the fruitful achievements made and was full of expectations for the work of the ninth phase. He thanked China for its long-term support in many important fields and believed that agricultural cooperation between China and Grenada is a model of cooperation between the two countries. He called on officials to make use of the resources of aid projects and short-term courses in China to enrich their knowledge and bring it back to Grenada.
