On July 2, 2026, Chinese Embassy in Grenada hosted a reception in celebration of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Attending the event were Honorable Joseph Andall, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development, Hon.Dr.Dessima Williams, Senate President, Honorable Emmalin Pierre, Leader of Opposition Party, Honorable Peter David, Member of Parliament of St.George’s, Political Leader of the Democratic People’s Movement, as well as ministers, members of parliament and members of the overseas Chinese community.

In his address, H.E.Yang Shu emphasized that the CPC's century-long journey has created "two miracles"—rapid economic development and long-term social stability—and that the fundamental reasons lie in adhering to sound theoretical guidance, remaining rooted in the people, upholding the principle of seeking truth from facts and advancing self-reform with courage, and maintaining long-term strategic commitment. 

Leaders of Grenada's political parties extended warm congratulations to the CPC. They expressed their expectation to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC.
