On October 11, 2023, Overseas Training Course on Nursing Technology of Maternal Healthcare for Grenada undertaken by Hunan Children’s Hospital Commence at St. George's General Hospital. Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Peng Wenlin, Hon. Gayton J. LaCrette, Minister for Health, Wellness and Religious Affairs and participants of the course were present.

    Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Peng said that health is an important area of pragmatic cooperation between China and Grenada. It is believed that this training program will further improve medical technique of the participants in terms of the maternal and child healthcare.

    Hon. Minister LaCrette said that the health sector is an important agenda of the Grenadian Government. He hoped that the participants of the training would cherish the opportunity and apply what they have learnt in their practical work.
