On October 13, 2023, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy in Grenada Peng Wenlin attended the 2023 Online Scholarship Awards Ceremony held by the Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports & Culture.

    In his speech, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Peng introduced the education cooperation between China and Grenada, saying that education is the foundation of national development, and that China is willing to work with the Grenadian side to promote close exchanges between young people of the two countries and to strengthen learning and mutual understanding.

    Minister Andrew thanked the Chinese side for its long-term support for the development of education in Grenada, and urged the scholarship awardees to study hard and contribute to the country and the development of friendly relations between China and Grenada.
