On April 18, 2026, the first “A Taste of China in the Caribbean” Food Festival, co-hosted by Chinese Embassy in Grenada and the World Federation of Chinese Catering Industry, was held at the Camerhogne Park, St. George's. The event attracted about 400 local residents and overseas Chinese.

At the event, exquisite Chinese dim sum was a treat for all. Shrimp balls, coconut rice balls, spring rolls, fried rice, and steamed buns filled the air with fragrance and were well received. Powerful martial arts performances drew rounds of applause, with every move showcasing the unique charm of Chinese kung fu.

Local residents expressed their gratitude to the Chinese side for hosting the food festival, which allowed Grenadians to experience Chinese cuisine up close and feel the charm of Chinese culture. They looked forward to more such events hosted by the embassy in the future.
